We automatically calculate engagement by generation based on the Birth Date field provided on the employee record. The following birth years define each generation:

  • 1928 - 1945: Silent Generation

  • 1946 - 1964: Baby Boomers

  • 1965 - 1981: Generation X

  • 1982 - 1996: Millennials

  • 1997 on: Generation Z
